School Visits
I love bringing books to life with interactive school visits that are full of fun, imagination, and creativity! Every session is tailored to the respective age group and includes a lively read-aloud, a collaborative drawing demo, a peek behind the curtain at my illustration process, and plenty of time for curious questions.
I’m available for in-person visits only, and can make the presentations work for classrooms, libraries, or even big assemblies—anywhere kids are ready to imagine and create together!

The magic of mistakes
(GR K-2)
I share how mistakes, messes, and starting over are part of making picture books, using childhood drawings and real works in progress. We imagine new characters on the spot, and finish with kid-friendly Q&A (with fun backup questions if needed!).
The Art of Failure
(GR 3-5)
A deeper dive into creativity and perseverance. Students join a collaborative art demo and get time to ask thoughtful questions about the process of bringing a book to life.
